Honda CB550k3 in lovely condition.
Engine completely rebuilt with new big ends, main bearings, rebored to 0. 5mm with associated new pistons and rings, new cam chain and tensioners, recut valve seats, carbs cleaned and reconditioned, new air filter.
New chain and sprockets, new front brake pads, clocks refurbished. The bike has done around 700 miles since the engine rebuild.
Wiring loom has been refurbished and a new rectifier fitted. It also has a new headlamp shell, rim and reflector. All switches have been dismantled and refurbished.
Original wheels have been replaced with DID rims with new spokes at some point in the past. A Motobatt battery has been fitted. The seat is in very good condition. New front fork oil. There are new brake lines at the front and the front brake calliper has been refurbished.
The tank is presentable but would benefit from a respray and new decals. There are no discernible dents.
There’s no strap on the seat.
One exhaust has no baffle. I have another but the chrome on it isn’t as good. I’ll throw that in so you can choose which one to use.
The tyres have tread but aren’t new. It passed an MOT a few year back when I first put it on the road but it doesn’t require one and I haven’t bothered in the last two years as I’m only doing a few hundred miles a year on it.
I’ve spent thousands on the bike, it’s a smooth running classic that is a joy to ride. It would be nice to keep it but new projects beckon and I need to sell this one to pay for them.
