For sale a rare opportunity to purchase a genuine barn find, been parked up since 1976.
The Morris mk1 Cooper 998 was built in 1965 and registered in 1966.
The car is completely original unrestored and never welded. The car has its original fe number body number and floor number original vin plate and engine number plate. it still even has its original carpets. The number plates are original to the car also. Rare 3 point seat belts fitted from new.
The speedo is showing 22k miles. I have the original buff logbook and the new v5c in my name showing no previous owners, so a 1 owner car.
The car is running driving it's had the brakes rebuilt and clutch over haul with new master cylinders fitted. Brand new YOKOHAMA gt special tyres fitted including the spare, these are a period looking tyre.
The car has been seen by the cooper register who helped me with the registration for the new v5c and verified the car.
The car is running and driving, I have replaced the spark plugs dizzy cap, arm, new leads keeping the original Champion caps.
I am not desperate for a sale I'm not looking for any part exchanges or swaps or any low offers because of this that and the other.
I'm more than happy to keep the car if the asking price is not achieved.
