Sadly the time has come for me to sell my Z4, I have enjoyed every moment of this car but I need a van.
It’s a 2006 model, 6 speed manual with the 3. 0 N52B30 engine, mileage is currently at 64, 278 which may rise slightly. It has full service history and MOT until the 02/ 04/ 25. I am just the 3rd owner from new. It sits on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres on the 108 5 spoke wheels. 2 keys and V5 in my name. Only run on premium fuel.
In my ownership I have carried out quite a bit of work, not because it needed it, but being 18 years old I thought it could benefit from a good freshen up.
In April this year, I had the Monaco blue paintwork professionally corrected and ceramic coated, then in June it had a comprehensive suspension overhaul/ refresh which consisted of the following:
Bilstein B4 shock absorbers, Eibach springs, new top mounts, bump stops, dust covers, drop links, inner and outer tie rod ends, H&R anti roll bars with new arb bushes, SuperPro control arms with SuperPro bushes and rear anti roll bar links. After this I had a proper geometry set up done at Regal Autosport in Southampton.
All of the above absolutely transformed the way the car drives and although it’s never going to feel as sharp and precise as a Porsche it feels much better than before.
Other things Ive had done in my ownership include a ‘back box mod’ (modification to stock backbox) which slightly enhances sound over stock, I had the steering wheel re trimmed in Alcantara as the factory leather one was becoming sticky.
