* Not for the shy and retiring. The history of Lister and Jaguar goes back to the Lister Knobbly of the 1950's and the one armed racing driver Archie Scott-Brown. Unfortunately Scott-Brown died in a racing accident and Brian Lister pulled out of racing. Move forward to the nineteen eighties and three Jaguar enthusiasts Ron Beatty, John Lewis and Ian Exeter formed BLE and brought Lister and Jaguar together once again, with modified XJS's and XJ Saloons. This eventually became Lister under the management of Laurence Pearce at WP Automotive and eventually resulted in the ultimate Lister Storm, alongside the road going Le Mans and ultimate 7. 0 ltr Wide Body XJS. During the nineteen nineties Lister went out of business until being resurrected again in its current form, which has no connection with previous operators. A LISTER XJS could be whatever specification the customer wanted, from a breathed on 5. 3ltr V12 with 300+bhp and 400+ nm of torque, to a 7. 0ltr V12 and 500 + bhp. Body styling varied from just the LISTER body kit to a full blown, wide bodied monster. This example was fully restored around 8 years ago and has covered around 3, 000 miles since. Would consider AM Rapide PX (XJS + Cash) or WHY. NOTE: The car is now registered G885VSE
