Ford Capri Mk3, 1983, in my possession since 2009.
Made to stand out with some tasteful little changes such as front grill and chrome bumpers from the MK2 model, plus a pair of chrome mirrors, ducktail spoiler at the rear and a Capri club front spoiler. Also, front "angel eyes" lights (the original lights are included), banded 14" steel wheels with new tyres, 195/ 60/ 14 at the front and 205/ 60/ 14 at the rear. The car's body has a light sand texture, so it creates an original look. It has been painted with a unique kind of mat " NASA" Orange colour.
Under the bonnet: 2. 0l pinto with some modifications: K&N filter, fast road Cam and 4-2-1-2 Ford Capri sportex exhaust system and 38 Dgas Webber carb.
Recent work:
Reconditioned, set and tuned carburetor by a professional company,
New Spark plugs, leads, ignition coil, condenser, distributor cap rotor arm,
New head gasket, diff cover and rear brakes rebuilt,
New driver side front fibreglass wing,
Respray
The car would benefit from new pair of track rod ends ( included in the sale) and a rear axle bump stops (also included),
MOT and TAX exempt,
Thatcham Category 1 immobiliser,
Thatcham Category 2 Cobra alarm system,
Back in 2011 the car went though a minor renovation process by other professionals, therefore, there is only some surface rust on chassis, which recently received anti rust Lanoguard treatment. I have a few cans of Hammerite Waxoyl ready to be used for further rust prevention.
The interior is fully original in great condition ( small tear on the driver seat), please note that the car will be sold with an original Capri steering wheel ( the one on the pics is not included). I also have an original radio that comes with a car.
My Ford is always kept in the garage, driven occasionally only during nice weather.
