For sale is my ‘clubsport inspired’ Corrado VR6 which I've tirelessly spent hundreds of hours working on to bring it up to a very good, usable daily driver with a bit of flair. Not to mention a fortune in replacement parts too. Due to personal circumstances I now have to move it on to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.

MOT expires April 2025 (for which it had a clean, no advisories pass this year)

Stacks of paperwork including the original leather wallet with service book and other original booklets (worth a fair bit alone).
Full service history - last serviced July 2024 by myself which included the correct VW grade Millers oil and Bosch filters throughout. Gear oil was changed at the same time and Redline MT-90 gear oil was used. Power steering fluid was also changed and the correct VW grade oil was used.
Only ever run on premium grade fuel (E5 Esso/ Shell)
Toad Ai606 alarm & immobiliser system with remote locking. This has a whole host of cool programmable features such as auto window/ sunroof close when locking etc.
As standard the car came from the factory with:
Electric windows
Electric sunroof
Electric, heated mirrors
Heated washer jets
ABS
Power steering
Central locking
MFA Dash function allows MPG, oil temp, external air temp etc to be read on the dash
I am unable to add the full description so in brief the following work has been carried out.
If you've read up about these cars you'll know that the timing chains can have issues over 100k miles. I had the timing chains and tensioners all replaced in October 2023 by Stealth Racing as a precaution.
At the same time a new clutch and clutch slave cylinder were fitted along with a few other ‘whilst we're in there’ parts.
The engine is standard besides the custom intake which I made with the large Ramair filter - this really does make the best noise! And a full Jetex stainless steel exhaust system is fitted but it's not loud at all, still retaining the twin silencer box layout. It also has a Miltek sports cat.
The colour is Aqua Blue Pearl which is, I think, the best colour. It's not boring like silver or black but it hasn't aged like the dark green has.
It has just had a full ‘panels off’ front end respray (September 2024) to address some bad stone chips. At this point a very small amount of rust was removed from the front arches also.
The rest of the paint is in good condition given the car is now over 30 years old. Some small car park dings here and there as well as the odd scratch. To be expected.
Underneath the car is solid, no rot at all.
Rear spoiler pops up both at speed (approx 45mph) and on the switch - this is a super cool function!
Sunroof also works as it should, though given how fragile these are (a common Corrado fault) I only use it on tilt, never on slide to prevent any troubles!
A proper drivers car whilst still being comfortable and usable everyday. And in my opinion this interior is in immaculate condition.
Cobra Nogaro’s in black vinyl and suede have been fitted September 2024, which are adjustable on rails. These fit into the same places as the original seats, nothing was drilled or modified to make them fit so they can be unbolted easily.
All door cards have been recovered in suede to match the seats. The gear gaitor has also been made in suede to match.
Uber-rare ‘Recaro Special’ made by Momo steering wheel with Momo boss kit. This took me a long time to find but it compliments the interior perfectly. I also reconditioned it July 2024 so it looks as good as new.
The rear seats have been removed and a false floor has been made and fitted which is completely removable, I was mindful not to drill any holes or cut anything away when making this so it can be removed easily and the standard rear seats can be fitted back in.
The original front and rear seats will come with the car if the buyer would like them.
VDO voltage and oil pressure gauges have been fitted to the centre console.
New dark grey headlining fitted May 2024.
All the plastics and dash are in excellent condition.
Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth and USB. The speakers have also been upgraded with Pioneer units.
Front brakes have been uprated to Golf VR6 calipers and discs, slightly larger in size with a bigger surface area makes them more effective than the standard Corrado setup. Goodridge braided brake hoses are also fitted.
Weitech (KW) adjustable coilovers are fitted. Rears were completely overhauled March 2024 with new springs and new bump stops fitted. Powerflex poly bush strut top mounts were fitted at the same time.
The rear beam axle was removed and completely overhauled March 2024.
Bola B12 17” Gloss Gunmetal wheels really make the car. Nankang AS2+ tyres all round which have only covered a thousand miles or so.

Open to serious offers. Viewing recommended. The Corrado is like a Golf… Only better. Better looking, faster, more nimble and better build quality throughout. These were hand built by Karmann.
This one has a bit of a track theme about it but it hasn't lost that daily driver, comfortable, 'get in and go' use. I've spent thousands on it in my ownership which means the new owner can simply get in and drive. All the major jobs have been addressed (or work).
The car has been well maintained throughout it's life before my ownership.
It does drive really lovely and it enjoys cruising just as much as it does a spirited drive too! The VR6 is smooth and quiet but angry when opened up! The perfect combination.
First to view will buy, the pictures don't really do the car justice. It's in very good condition for it's age and really has a great presence in person.
