1953 XK120SE Drop Head Coupe Barn Find Left Hand Drive.
I'll keep this description short as the photos say it all.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone to own a wonderful project car, it would be great to just recommission it as an oily rag, or if they preferred a full restoration.
I bought from a friend with the intention of simply making the ultimate Oily Rag car. I've had a few XKS over the years and it's the ideal candidate for an oily rag. I haven't yet moved it from where it stands at my friends as is showing in the photos, so it's sat still gathering the dust, been in that Barn since 2007, and was found in Texas where it had stood for decades too, but I will be unearthing it in the coming period once I have some serious interest.
The Interior and Hood materials are pretty non existent due to it having stood in a warm climate for many years, and it must have got caught in a hale storm at some point in its life when in the USA, it has some amazing peen marks from the size of the ice balls that must have been golf ball sized and impacted the body panels, none of which detracts from its honesty or beauty and apart from that and the paint coming away on the alloy panels due to being sunbaked, the metalwork, the patination and mechanicals are all there, the fuel tank is missing and the dash is out, one screen glass is missing, but there is a very usually you'd say distressed, but it's more like distraught looking dash and wood capping and the gauges are there, etc in the car..
So, its one of those cars you just have to see in the flesh to understand it and you'll fall in love if you understand it, and if you don't understand it, then I won't be selling it to you anyway... hahaha..

The cars sat here in The Channel Islands "Buyer Collects". Was a USA IMPORT WILL REQUIRE LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION, BUT THE BODY IS VERY SOLID...
