Description
Have decided to sell my Honda 750 4 F1 to see if anyone interested . Next option will be to try a specialist auction.
I have owned the bike many years , I bought it as had a 750 F1 in 1978 not long after passing my test.
The mileage is genuine and the bike is in as new showroom condition. A time warp as they say. Having a few other bikes it has not been used. In 2019 I had the bike recommissioned by Rising Sun Motorcycles at a cost of over £2000.
I had planned to then use the bike but got busy and then along came COVID. It sits on display in my dining room .
I have been in contact with the original owner (well his wife as he had passed away) It was a christmas present to himself on the 24 December 1976. . A bit odd as the registration document is dated 1st July 1977. I cannot explain that.
I have both keys , original service book and owners manual. Tool kit is still present under the seat.
The bike is minus a battery , I crank it over on the kickstart every couple of weeks just to move the pistons in the bores. It will require a further soft touch to put back on the road.
The Bike magazine has a roadtest of the F1 against the Suzuki GT 750.
I appreciate not the most popular of the SOHC Honda 750's but there cannot be many unrestored originals left. The value is what it owes me that may not be what it is worth. As they say something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. !
