A genuinely cherished MK1 Golf for sale. I have owned the car since 2016 and it always garages and only accidentally driven in the rain once. I drove it often for a few years until 2019. I have only just got the car properly back on the road after having our first child in 2019. It also allowed a lengthy restoration solely by myself getting the car pristine.
Car serviced once a year by myself with oem filters and quantum synta oil, I even serviced the car annually whilst it was garaged and did 0 miles some years.
Mods : golf mk3 vr6 running gear, engine , 02a box, subframe, power steering, front and rear brakes and master cylinder. Reinforced front end and rear end with rear strut brace. Mk3 vr6 ecu.
Adjustable coilovers, all round
adjustable top mounts, brock wheels 9x16 refurbed in satin black , berg cup style arches, bucket seats and harnesses, battery in boot . Secret fuel cut off switch to stop thieves, but also to kill engine if required. I also have an immobiliser switch installed.
Boot open wired to choke, to allow a smoothed boot with no keyhole.
4 vdo gauges. Coolant gauge I haven't wired in as coolant gauge on odometer does, original vdo clock, original vdo oil pressure gauge, and original vdo oil temp gauge all wired in and working.
Redline motul mt90 75w90 gearbox oil.
Inline bosch 044 fuel pump.
Vw polo 2003 shifter cables and shift tower.
Redone oem bonnet with heat proofing and reworked underneath to fit engine.
Fresh battery.
Front engine mount is a land rover defender hockey Puck style.
Vibra technics rear rh road use engine mount.
Oem copper spark plugs, normal gaping.
Only ever had synta 10w 40 semi syn oil.
Fresh sytec aftermarket fuel filter as oem one is too large and hasn't got the same filtering qualities.
Brand new toyo proxies all round.
Coolant flush. Run on vw g12+.
Mileage on clocks is 153k, however the engine and gearbox have only done 80k at present and had chains done 5 years ago just to take precautions. The tintop shell has only done around 60k and is mint.
No px will be considered. I will happily take any buyer on a test drive.
