Description
For sale is my 1977 Honda CB750 K7.
I am reluctantly having to sell it for health reasons.
I imported the motorcycle from South Africa three years ago where it was totally restored by my engineer friend. The bike was completely dismantled, inspected and rebuilt with numerous new mostly genuine Honda parts. He did the greater part of the work including a total engine strip and rebuild, frame powder coated plus many many new parts. I finished the restoration once it arrived here. It is now registered as a historic vehicle in my name.
The fuel tank tank has been lined and all paintwork done in Candy Apple Red. New Bridgestone tyres and new exhaust. The motorcycle has covered 1, 700 miles (approximately) since it was rebuilt and serviced at regular intervals.
Although an MOT is not required, I have a current MOT just for peace of mind! This CB750 is a Canadian model (also sold in South Africa). I have changed the bars from the higher Canadian style to the flatter UK spec along with shorter cables and shorter front hydraulic hose. Everything is in superb condition and the bike starts on the button and runs perfectly. It gets admiration and great comments wherever it goes!
There are not many of these around in this kind of condition although there is one in the Sammy Miller Museum! (photo included!)
I have lots of photos and documents relating to the restoration available.
Please feel free to contact me for more information or to arrange viewing.
