Description
I am sadly selling my 1992 Eunos Roadster Mazda Speed I've owned for 8 years as I have recently lost my garage space.
In 1997 the original owner delivered the car to Mazdaspeed to be upgraded to B-Spec Type 2 and the 1. 6-litre engine was thoroughly overhauled of which I have the extensive paperwork.
It's recently had a major service which I have receipts for and a new MOT. It passed with a few advisories. The rear brake caliper wasn't up to scratch so was replaced so the only outstanding advisory is a note about the numberplate.
A variety of work was done including fitting the following:
-High Compression pistons
-Camshafts
-Valve Springs
-Rings
-Main and Thrust bearings
-Lightweight Chromoly Flywheel
-Modified ECU with higher rev limit and increased fueling
-Cylinder head
-Exhaust Manifold
-Polished heat shield
-HKS induction kit
-HKS Superdragger exhaust (since replaced with Cobalt Stainless)
-Engraved Mazdaspeed cam cover,
-Gold anodised Mazdaspeed oil cap
-Rear badge and engine plaque
4 years ago it had extensive rust repair carried out at Arrow5s and I have a whole album of pictures from before, during and after the work which was done to a very high standard.
The car has just had a full detail including clay bar, polish and wax, interior clean including vacuum and wet vac of upholstery. The paintwork comes up very well for its age but has several dents and paint imperfections as you'd expect of a 30-year-old car. Pictures make up the description for this.
I'm my ownership I've carried out lots of upgrades to the car including:
Full suspension overhaul with:
-Meister R CRD Coilovers
-Powder-coated arms with new ball joints
-Superpro full polybush kit
-15" Enkei RPF1 Wheels and Uniroyal Rainsport tyres
Brake upgrades:
-1. 8 big brake kit with reconditioned calipers
-Roddisons Brake Pads
-Goodrich Braided Brake lines
-Brake stopper for improved feel
Other mods include:
-Duraflex engine mounts
-Cobalt catback exhaust
-Genuine Momo Prototipo Wheel
-Jass Gear Knob and Handbrake lever and white stitched leather gaiters
-Jass Chrome Mirrors
-Moss Chrome Filler Cap
-Engine Strut Brace
-Aluminium PedalsOverall this makes for a unique roadster with a Dyno Print showing much increased horsepower and torque from stock. When driving the car you can really feel it and it revs much quicker due to the lightweight flywheel. It drives and handles so much better than my previous MX-5 a stock V-Spec 1. 6!
