Description
LANCIA STRATOS EVOCATION
- NAPIERSPORT CORSE ‘I’ GROUP 4 -
A faithful recreation of a Pirelli WRC Group 4 Lancia Stratos which is powered by the glorious Alfa Romeo Busso 3. 0 V6 (12V) mated to a 5 speed gearbox, this powerplant is as close as you can get to the Ferrari Dino derived V6 in the original car.
Featuring authentic and striking Pirelli livery, squared Group 4 arches and widened track to accommodate the extra body width, rose jointed links, Avo adjustable coil overs front and rear and bespoke 16” front, 17” rear NTM coffin spoke wheels from Italy. This car is not for the faint hearted or person seeking sophistication or peace! The heart of this beast feeds straight through to twin exhausts which can be heard clearly in the footage taken from Cadwell Park. [Link at end of Ad]
Those in the know will appreciate the detail and quality of the panel fit, this is not a poorly put together kit car but a reputable tribute. . Napiersport described the Corse as an evolution, and the Corse I a further development on what was already an exceptional car. This particular example not only looks the part, but packs 200bhp+ in a car that weights less than a ton. It is equally at home ‘on track’ as it is on the road having the benefit of a plumbed in extinguisher, race seats & harnesses! Values have crept up in recent years with exceptional LB’s commanding £110k+, whilst this cannot be directly compared due in part to its raw Rally/ Race setup, however I am confident you will be impressed!
Under the skin; the Superstratos has subtle modern design differences through the tubular chassis and rear suspension of the Corse I give stiffer poise and enhanced driver confidence for road use whilst still retaining the authentic appearance, stance, power outputs and driving characteristics of the icon that is the Stratos. Only in a more reliable and manageable package!
Included in the sale is a light pod protector (shown in one image), Carello driving light protectors and a set of Compomotive wheels (See photo of car on track). In regular summer use with its now third owner who has owned it for five years, the previous holder of this vehicle was equally as impressed with four plus years of ownership. For sale only due to a change of direction in terms of car ownership having enjoyed every moment of driving this immense machine, whether it be to classic car shows or through the Shropshire hills, nothing and I mean nothing draws a crowd like this does!
The car is available for inspection to genuine interested parties seeking a unique and highly desirable opportunity. This is a private sale and as such I respectfully ask that only those with available funds for the full asking price view as to not waste either of our time. The car is located in Staffordshire. A walk around video is available on request. No part ex options please.
