Finished in Jaguar ‘Black Cherry’ paint, with classic red / black cockpit. Custom seats with headrests and dashboard trimmed to match. Willans 3 point harnesses. Mahogany door caps and dash surround, Moto Lita wooden steering wheel.
Bluetooth enabled intercom system with two Peltor headsets (listen to the radio / music from your phone as you blast down the road!). Full ETB Instruments clock set (Speedo, Tach, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Fuel, Volts)
Stainless steel headlights and driving lights with stone guards, cycle wing mounted indicators. High level stop lights on roll over hoop.
Fuel Injected 2. 5 Litre Straight 6 (BMW M20B25). Fully rebuilt, new bearings, oil seals, gaskets etc. Uprated ECU from later BMW e30 Model. Thermostatic Facet cooling fan. Custom aluminium header tank with sight glass, matching washer bottle from same tank fabricator. New alternator and starter recently fitted.
5 speed Getrag gearbox, BMW LSD. Full stainless steel exhaust system.

Private dateless plate is not included in the sale, so the car should revert to its original reg - C184 URP. (Not a ‘Q’ plate as the provenance of the donor was proven at testing and registration)I bought and built this car because it’s different - not on of the endless Lotus clones. A 30’s style car with more modern underpinnings. I’m only parting with her due to health issues. Donor was purchased back in 2005, and all components taken from it were rebuilt / refurbished prior to the car build. The car was IVA tested (passed first time!) and registered in 2010
Surprisingly quick, and very fun on the back roads. Only 144 Sportsters have been built, and seldom come up for sale. Don’t miss out.
