One of the toughest vehicles on the planet: the Toyota Land Cruiser, manufactured in various parts of the world from 1951 to the present. In 1960, the chassis was upgraded to the 40 series (the main advantage being the use of a new steel processing method, which significantly improved quality and strength). The Land Cruiser finally received a reduction gear. The first diesel version appeared in 1974, with more engines added over time. In 1979, power steering was introduced, followed by front disc brakes in 1981 and a 3. 4-liter engine (code-named 3B).
The offered Toyota Land Cruiser, designated as the BJ 45 LP in a pickup truck configuration, dates back to 1982. Under the hood is the aforementioned 3. 4-liter engine, a 4-cylinder OHV diesel engine with a compression ratio of 20:1. It delivers 90 hp and 217 Nm of torque. The vehicle has undergone a comprehensive renovation of the body, frame, bed, and interior. It is now rust-free and boasts a well-done paint job. The diesel engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The 4-speed manual transmission, four-wheel drive, and reduction gearbox also work perfectly. This is a very solid vehicle that can survive anything; the only minor flaw is some damage to the driver's seat upholstery, but otherwise, there is nothing else to address.
