Rover SD1 V8-S Auto
Registered 3/ 8/ 1979, making this one of the first supplied. Totally original, with all the correct V8-S parts. It has been painted in the distant past, and will need a full restoration. It does run and drive, but will need welding and a master cylinder at the very least to use. The fuel tank and pump are good. It will be on it's original gold wheels on collection, the wheels shown in the photos are just ones I've fitted that hold air. It has been always dry-stored, and has been off the road since 2000. I have fitted a decent running engine to keep it mobile. The original correct numbered engine will be supplied with the car, but that engine needs a full rebuild. All the correct parts such as the A/ c etc are present. I have owned this car since 2018, and I have stored it away as a future restoration project, but I have decided that it isn't going to happen, and I have accepted that it is time to be realistic and offer someone else the chance to get this rare car finished.
The V8-S is probably the rarest of all the SD1 variants, and possibly the ultimate expression of the pure series one form.
All the V8-S defining spec related parts are there, and I am certain that the money and effort this project will require will be worth the investment.
They don't come up every day, so don't miss this chance.
