Porsche 911 – a classic that everyone secretly desires. The car that replaced the original model 356 was introduced in 1964. A completely new car for its time, it impressed with the use of a flat-six engine, which evolved over time, offering increasing performance from its growing displacement. In the early years, various versions were produced with suffixes L (Luxury), S (Sport), T (Touring), and E (with fuel injection). The first models predominantly used the 901/ 01 engine with a displacement of 2 liters and an output of 130 horsepower.

In August 1968, the second series, Series B, was introduced. It was here that the 911E with injection first appeared instead of the 911L designation. The 1991 cm³ engine provided a total of 140 horsepower at 6, 500 RPM (and 175 Nm at 4, 500 RPM), with a weight of 1, 020 kg. Both four-speed and five-speed transmissions were available. Interestingly, the 911E version, produced from 08/ 1968 to 07/ 1969, had wider six-inch rims and 195/ 75 R16 tires. Additionally, both coupe and Targa versions were offered, as in the case of the car in the photos.

Offering such a classic Porsche 911 is always a joy, especially in the case of this specific example, which has never been restored and is in a very original, wonderfully preserved condition. The car shows no signs of corrosion and spent most of its life in sunny California, where it was sold as new, before recently arriving in the Czech Republic with its current owner. The only reminders of its blessed age are minor scratches and cosmetic imperfections on the beautiful, original paint. Originality is evident in other details as well: such as the original key or the protective element under the fuel cap and the antenna for the Blaupunkt Monterey SQR23 cassette radio. An interesting feature is also the air conditioning, which is fully functional but currently disconnected. The engine has undergone partial repairs, and test drives revealed its excellent, pure performance – it revs beautifully and maintains idle without any issues. The driving characteristics reveal a fully functional chassis and well-tuned brakes. The car is equipped with the more desirable five-speed transmission. Complete documentation is available, including the original service book. The original Burgundy Red paint is also marked on the original label on the A-pillar. The list of details is, of course, much longer, but this collectible gem needs to be seen in person, as such original 911s are truly rare, especially with such nice equipment.

In the last two years, the car has undergone extensive servicing to be fully prepared for trouble-free driving:

New tires (original size)
New battery
Cleaned fuel tank
Replaced brake pedal bushings
Replaced rear axle boots
New clutch, including bearing and flywheel
Replaced "O" rings in the cylinder head
Valve covers from the racing model used (original can be supplied with the car)
Cleaned and adjusted fuel injection pump
New belt on the fuel injection pump
New rear shock absorbers
