In decent order inside and out, commensurate with age and mileage. The bodywork is very straight with no orange rust around the arches, as is the usual trend with Mercedes of this vintage. No unsightly dents or deep scratches, it really does look great but obviously not A1 showroom grade so please be realistic. The interior is equally good, with no rips or tears to the leather, and no horrible smells or traces of either smoking or pets.
The car drives superbly with no knocks or noises from the suspension, drive train, brakes or steering, all are very responsive and as they should be. The engine starts straight away on the first turn of the key, with no problems, smoke or rattles. The automatic gearbox is smooth up and down the box, simply outstanding. Still 139K on this car is nothing at all, my E220 has covered 250K and going strong. Capable of huge mileages, and returning effortless comfort, reliability and economy.
