Description
A rare model produced by JaguarSport – a separate entity owned 50-50 by Jaguar and its racing partner, Tom Walkinshaw Racing – established to create sportier versions of the company’s existing range. Unfinished cars were transported from Jaguar’s Browns Lane factory to TWR’s facility in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. Here, TWR added the same aftermarket parts that it had independently developed under its own JaguarSport brand in the early 80’s. Making its debut in 1988 with the 5. 3 litre V12 engine, the capacity was increased to 6. 0 litre in late 1989. The model was facelifted in May 1991 and production ceased in 1993.
A total of 787 coupes and 50 convertible cars were built for the world market.
H766YTY was first registered 1st August 1990. It has had 5 previous owners and covered 106, 944 miles and is currently MOT’d till 18th September 2025.
