Description

ALFA ROMEO 8c MONZA evocation (1934)
The 8-Cylinder Alfa Romeo of the 1930s is widely regarded as one of the greatest cars of its era. Vittorio Jano's masterpiece was inspired from the respected 6 cylinder 1750, with a beefed up Roots style supercharger, increasing its performance by nearly 70% to 142bhp.
This outstanding evocation was built to the highest standards by pre-war Alfa Romeo specialist Setford & Company in Droxford, Hampshire.
Chassis, body, front and rear axles are from respected Alfa specialist Colin Howard from Christchurch in NZ with engine and transmission by Jim Stokes benefited with a much more powerful unit bored to 3 litre giving an amazing power output of 260 bhp after being tested on the rolling road at Setford’s.
A wonderful example with very few miles from new and full FIA papers to experience the legendary Monza for fast road tours or track racing.
