Description
1973 Toyota Celica TA22
Project to build a genuine rarity a JDM classic car in Europe, both as a street version or for competition in historic cars.
Unit to enjoy or invest in. Documented and registered. Original spanish registration.
Authentic “barn find” stopped for more than 35 years and completely dismantled to carry out a comprehensive restoration.
Complete interiors without any breaks and upholstery in perfect condition.
1600cc 2TG engine and double camshaft, with cylinder head prepared by Yamaha, and several parts assembled at the time of the Tosco catalogue (Toyota preparer in the 70s for competition).
The bodywork is still lacking some sheet metal finishing (window lips and a cloth for the floors), but the most laborious work is done and with those parts matched. After finishing the sheet metal, it would be necessary to paint. The car is 99% complete, as it was almost complete already, but the parts in poor condition have been supplied, with new replacement parts for everything important (rubber, gaskets, mechanical parts, badges, etc.)
All Toyota workshop manuals are available.
JDM wing mirrors and TRD body kit (front spoiler, rear spoiler and fender) are included.
Parts that are very difficult to obtain in general, included in the project, and especially the Toyota 2TG engine that was fitted in period.
2 sets of keys.
For sale due to change of project.
Many more parts, photos and information about the Celica, available for those really interested.
