The car is a later car meaning it is currently Ulez exempt. First registered new to Eric Clapton in 2003 with all paperwork in his name and addressed to his London studio / home.
Sadly for sale due to a house purchase, otherwise would be gladly keep the car. I have owned it now for over two years with the previous owner for the seven years prior. I am confident that he also treated the car with us much care as myself.
In the two years of ownership I have been responsible for over 1/ 3 of the miles on the car which have been hassle free. At 31k this is still a fairly low milage car and a great condition considering the age.
The car is an immaculate example with very little work required to make it pristine as testified by Aldous at Av engineering and anyone else to have see the car in person with it being a recent concours car. Despite the excellent condition of the car, it is also ready to be well used with it having done recent good milage over the last few years along with the full recent service (all the main big money issues checked and replaced), reasonably new tyres and the front end PPF giving the next owner flexibility for use.
The front end PPF was done by Refined detail in Sussex when I purchased the car. Tyres were changed just just over a year ago to new Michelin PS5’s and a new battery was fitted at the start of this year with the current MOT running until January 2025.
The exterior of the car has factory Rosso Corsa red paintwork with the optional factory wing shields, and the challenge grill from new. The interior is fitted with tan leather including the optional leather headlining. It has the Merlot red carpet and the upgraded sound system, sat nav, and cd changer. There is also the bonus of an additional bluetooth connection to the original stock stereo fitted to connect iPhone etc…
One of the other stand out points is the Tubi exhaust system which really makes this example a much more visceral experience especially paired with the gated manual gearbox.
Overall condition of the car is excellent from paint, wheels, engine bay and the interior. With no real wear or damage including to the leather seats & bolsters, carpets, etc. No real signs of cracking, stains, stretching, UV damage shows the car has been well looked after and stored correctly over the years. Some of the ‘sticky buttons’ have been addressed - Largely the main touch points - Door handles, window switches etc… As far as I am aware the car has always been garaged and rarely used in the wet.
Although the car is in brilliant condition, there are of course some minor blemishes due to the vehicle’s age and use in the usual places although nothing of concern. There is virtually no road rash to the front end, and even under the car the front end is very good for any sports car with minimal scraping to the plastic under trays.
Mechanically the car is very good too. Starts straight away and runs smooth. Never have any worries getting it out for a drive. It has passed every MOT since 2008 with no advisories. Current V5c present and correct along with 2 original sets of keys & fobs. Also included, the full original tool kit in branded leather case, tyre inflator, paperwork and booklets. Also included in sale comes a trickle charger which has been wired onto the battery in the passenger footwell for easy access.
Comprehensive Ferrari service history – 18 Stamps showing it having been meticulously maintained by Ferrari & well known specialists (Av Engineering, Barkaways, Autofficina Kent High Performance), with a record of regular servicing and the recommended cambelt changes and extensive works done during current ownership including all the big ticket items for 360’s.
I am keen to see it go to a good home and am happy to talk over any questions.
