1972 Late Bay - converted to an early bay look. When I acquired it (2008), stripped back to bare metal, rusty parts removed/ replaced and remodelled for an early bay look. Interior replaced with a refurbished set. Engine replaced approximately 8 years ago with new 1600cc twin carb engine. I haven’t done more than 1000 miles since then.
In reality, I haven’t used the van much and she’s been sat at the house looking more sorry for herself with each passing year - she needs a good home, an enthusiastic owner who will put some care and attention into bringing her back to life - both in body(work) and spirit. MOT Fail a couple of weeks ago, but it provides a reliable list of work that needs doing (failure sheet attached). Garage estimates £1500 to put the items right, but elements of bodywork and engine tune will be required. The van starts and drives, but will need to be transported to its new owner pending engine tune and service.
