Austin A50 PYR111 1500cc
An opportunity has arisen whereby my father is able to offer for sale his delightful 1955 Austin A50 Cambridge 1500 which he has owned since the mid 1980's. The original registration is transferable and has a high value hence the high asking price but the vehicle would need some work to obtain a MOT. The log book has no restrictions with regards to transfer of number.
The work that still requires attention : both front outriggers. A new front windscreen rubber, the new owner would need to go over the brakes, steering suspension, tyres, windscreen, washer needs to be checked and rectified as needed, so there is still some work to do. The body looks very presentable, tidy and smart and appears to have all original body panels. The chassis is very strong having benefited from heavy underseal from new.
The Interior is very good indeed with no rips or tears in the leather or headlining.
The engine was replaced with a 'gold seal' by the previous owner and done very few miles since. The engine starts on the button and has never failed to start in my Dad's ownership and is exceptionally quiet. Mileage is 59213.
This is a very nice genuine car.
