Offered in rare & subtle "elephant grey" this timewarp uk example c9o is an
amazing find in just amazing original condition & wit. Incredibly low mileage
of just 4, 452 miles (l 100% believe it to be genuine) & even has an original rack
it’s had a new battery, cleaned the carb, new spark plug
& done a ride out to take photos today & put the grand total of 4 miles on her!
it is an original uk bike with some old tax discs going back to 1980, loads of
old mot's & looking at the bike as a whole 1 am genuinely convinced the
mileage is correct - just look at the original rubbers on the pegs, the
condition of the original mirrors, the seat etc. Etc. I have a very quaint
original owners manual, even more quaint service book (but on closer
examination it is not for this bike but one of the same year with a different reg number) which
i have just stamped with what i have done
the person (never thought he would ever part with the bike) i bought the bike off was an absolute
gent & gave me some of the background to the bike before he bought it including that
apparently it had been owned by a vicar for some years to pop on between visits to his
parishioners & then he would chain the bike up which has left the only blemish on the
paintwork on the chain guard which i have deliberately left as original & part of its "patina"
having merely covered with grey tape to protect it.
he did source a replacement exhaust for it but apart from that she is a little timewarp factory
standard unmolested gem! Everything works as it should & i have had so much attention &
glowing feedback since getting it. I really doubt there is a better, lower mileage, unrestored,
unmolested one out there plus i think the grey really suits the aesthetics of the bike. Have 2
original keys, a clear hpi report & an original haynes manual to go wit. It.
