Stunning 1996 TVR Griffith 500 in Tahiti blue with blue leather upholstery and original Estoril alloys. Fastidiously maintained by local TVR specialist and previously owned by the Editor of Classic Cars magazine, Phil Bell, so always kept in tip top condition. Garaged when not being used and enjoyed. Standard except for some tasteful enhancements including Leven Technology aluminium gear knob and handbrake handle, plus stainless steel pedals. The car is fitted with a Meta alarm system and wired for a CTEK battery charger, which is included in the sale. Paintwork is in good condition as is the steel chassis. FSH with most recent service in March '24, when the exhaust manifold gaskets were upgraded. Passed MOT test at HM Government owned and run (very thorough), centre in May '24 with no advisories. The Griffith comes with 2 sets of keys, owner's manual including stamped service record section, a folder of documentation with various receipts and MOT certificates, spare wheel, jack and cover for the roof panel. There's also a container of recommended Valvoline Racing VR1 20W-50 engine oil, left over from recent service. The TVR Griffith is a joy to drive, delivering unadulterated analogue pleasure combined with a captivating V8 soundtrack! A change in personal circumstances means however that I am now rarely getting the opportunity to drive the TVR Griffith, so reluctantly, it's time to say goodbye to my toy! The car is in Newtownards, Northern Ireland, and as part of the UK, the MOT is valid in GB and no additional taxes or duties would be incurred by it moving back to the mainland. Happy to collect any prospective buyer from either Belfast City Airport (quite near to me), or Belfast International Airport. The price reflects the time of the year and if not sold this Autumn, it will hibernate in my dry, heated garage over the Winter months, plugged into the CTEK battery charger, only to be reintroduced on to the market at a higher price next Spring. A genuinely excellent car, looking for a new home.
