1977 Morris Marina 1. 3 Deluxe Police Livery
Hi and welcome to my listing for this TV & film star Morris Marina!
Finished in police livery, this Marina has most recently featured in Netflix's 'The Ripper' TV series. The ancillaries are more for show at the moment but could quite easily be rewired to work again - there are toggle switches on the dash that could be used.
It's a useable example that actually runs and drives really well. The engine starts up easily and sounds sweet. The controls are light and easy to use. Only thing I have noticed is that the revs seem to drop when the brake pedal is pressed (vacuum issue?) so you may wish to look into this, both the brakes and handbrake do work well though.
Bodywork wise it is a solid car that presents well but close up there are paint imperfections here and there. From a distance it looks great though and if you wished to use it for further TV/ film work, none of this would be visible on screen.
The interior is in good condition overall and looks to be very original. The carpets do get a bit wet if left outside in this terrible weather we've been having lately.
Overall a great looking car and one that will stand out from most other cars on the road. It was definitely a head turner when I took it out for a drive :) Good to use as is and improve or to earn an income from through further TV/ film work.
Comes with owners handbook and old handwritten notes detailing work done.
