When I bought the truck a few years ago, it was not running. This being the case I handed it over to a mechanic who specialises in classic and historic vehicles with a remit to do everything that needed to be done (including a rewire) to make it street legal but without taking anything away from the trucks originality and authenticity. After approximately 6 months, the truck came back to me, and I have been driving "Old Blue" ever since. Including the spare, the truck has five excellent tyres, I also have two manuals (spares and shop) worth circa £100 that are included in the price. The truck drives very well, and as it spent most of its life in California, with no freezing temperatures/ salt etc, it is as solid and sound as the day it rolled off the production line in 1948. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting the truck back on the road, however, as I now have another project underway, it is time to pass Old Blue on to his new owner and the next chapter in its life.
