Your winter restoration project! V5 in my name. Mostly complete and original except for the engine, which is a (3. 3L) 4. 203 Perkins Diesel and much more powerful and higher revving than an original Land Rover diesel engine (I expect the Landy will pull a train!)). Engine starts, idles and revs. Gearbox also seems fine. Free-wheeling hubs. Chassis is rotten! Comes with a separate (good – just needs sanding and painting) original Series chassis for you to start the restoration. The bulkhead might be saved with some welding, although I have a good S3 bulkhead you can buy by separate negotiation. Doors are shot but I will throw in a couple of decent door bottoms. Most other body panels appear to be good to use. £1, 500 (plus £750 for the replacement bulkhead if you want it). Delivery, mainland UK only, can be arranged. Great restoration project with just about everything you will need.
