This is my 1992 1. 6 Mazda Eunos Roadster (Japanese import)
Only driven 48, 000 miles (77, 000km as shown on speedometer)
•Valid MOT with no advisories until January 2025
•Soft top has no rips or tears and is fully waterproof
•Comes with paperwork dating all the way back to 1998 when it was imported
•Bodywork is in great condition, sills are solid and paint is great for its age (wing and front left arch paint could do with some work as shown in pictures)
•Seats and interior are also in amazing condition with the only issue I could find being that the electric window motor is slow/ weak but still works.
Unfortunately I have only owned this car for a few weeks after buying it at an auction however, due to recent personal issues with my insurance I haven’t been able to insure it and therefore can’t justify keeping it. This car is in amazing condition inside and out, the low miles make it extremely rare to find a Eunos this good quality.
Would be open to swaps for a non-imported Mk1 Mx-5 of either similar quality or with extra on top as that would be easier on insurance. Bad bits:
•Alternator belt has started squeaking on acceleration and start but stops when warms up.
•The car has been imported with the wrong information so is listed as a 1. 8 on DVLA. Engine is still original 1. 6 so can be changed by contacting DVLA, just haven’t got round to it yet.
•Sills are still great quality however after cleaning them off I found green paint under the silver(can provide more pictures of this) not sure the reasoning for this so it is a mystery to me unfortunately but any suggestions would be appreciated.
