The car has the factory card showing all the production details from which it is noted that it matches in engine/ chassis numbers and body/ interior colours.
Among the optional extras listed on the card are power brakes and chrome wire wheels. The same factory card shows that the car passed into the ownership of Mr. J. Allan Shantz, resident of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on November 5, 1988.
In the last Canadian registration certificate issued in April 2011, the car was still registered in the name of the second owner J. Allan Shantz. Imported into the UK on 2 June 2011 by JD Joseph Ltd., in July 2011 it was entrusted to Coys Auction House for the Blenheim Palace auction, where it was sold for £85. 000 pounds to Mr. Michael Ramon Erwich, owner of Spellbound Cars, of Great Westwood UK, which specialises in Aston Martins. All the chassis, bodywork and aluminium panels were already perfectly prepared and ready to be painted in the original 'Pacific Blue' colour. Front end, rear end, gearbox, electrics, dashboard, instrumentation and chrome were already perfectly restored.

Imported into Italy, it was painted by the Ercolani body shop in Faenza using the original 'Pacific blue' colour imported from England. The Fiani workshop in Rome, which specialises in the restoration of British cars, completely overhauled the engine with replacement of the barrels and pistons and took care of all the final assembly of the mechanical parts and bodywork.
The interior was reupholstered by an expert craftsman using original Connolly leather code VM 3099 as indicated on the production sheet, purchased directly from the factory with a certificate of authenticity dated 12 October 2020. On 9 November 2020 it obtained the certificate of historical relevance from the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI). On 10 March 2021, after being tested, it obtained Italian registration. Since then it has covered only 420 miles and is in like-new condition.
