In 1992 it participated in the 1000 Miglia re-evocative race (in those years it was sufficient for the model to be compatible with the race and not restricted to the year of construction) and still retains the provisional B2 registration plate issued by the motorizzazione civile in order to participate in the event.
In the following decades, it remained in a very important collection of classic cars until the heirs decided to have it fully restored by well-known specialists.
During the work it was found that the original blue colour still existed under the red colour and so the car was restored to its original factory specification. Note that all the SECURIT brand windows are the original and dated 3-11-55. Even the VIS brand windscreen is still the original dated 1958.
All instruments are original equipment as are all the badges applied to the car and all other details. After the restoration work was completed in 2018 the car has covered only 158 miles. In April 2022 the certificate of historical relevance was issued and in April 2023 it was registered for the first time in Italy.
