Description
Matching frame and engine numbers. New paint on tank, oil tank and side panel. Original chrome rims (in excellent condition) and original paint on frame. Chrome work is all original and in good order although at 52 years old does have the odd scuff mark and light pitting. Engine has just been re-built including new crank seals, con rods, pistons plus re-bore so will require running in. Very easy starter and runs very smoothly with plenty of torque.
No known faults. Has small dent in front mudguard (see pics) and general patina of half a century.
Will come with workshop manual and parts list. Some spares are available at an extra cost, including spare oil pump, oil tank, indicators and various small items such as gaskets, oil seals etc. The T 500 is a fine all round motorcycle and is quite capable of keeping up with modern traffic. Quite low reving for a two stroke with plenty of torque returning a good M. P. G of around 50 per gallon.
