1977 MGB GT. purchased six years age and underwent a full machanical strip down and refubishment. All components either restored or replaced with new.
Interier benifits from new carpet set, door covers and full rebuild of seats subsequently covered in full leather.
Rear spax suspension , poly bushes. New battery, fuel pump, starter motor, stainless exhaust. Seat belts, heater valve, roof lining. Both headlamp and coolant wiring circuits changed to route via relays. All internal light bulbs changed to LED bulbs. Electronic ignition.
Just fitted a second engine cooling fan for hotter climate if travelling abroad. Identical to the Mgb V8 set up.
Bodywork in good condition, minor paint blemishes which could be improved upon but in this respect nothing has changed or deteriorated whilst in my ownership.
My MG is well maintained, reliable, with a willing engine. Strong gearbox with overdrive in 3rd and 4th. Good differential. Propshaft UJs replaced. Fuel tank recently removed, cleaned and sealed internally. Then repainted. New E15 flue lines. Carburettors rebuilt. The under body and sills are solid and treated to body sealant and cavity filled.
Front suspension fully rebuilt five years ago. Many more improvements please call to discuss if interested.
