Description
Now for sale my 1972 Kawasaki 750cc H2 triple originally modified and hand built by the experienced Kawasaki specialist Ralf Kramer at Triple Klinik GL, Germany. This was Ralf's personal machine for a while up until he sold on to one other owner in Germany who I purchased from during December 2022. It was on a genuine fully TUV approved German plate. I have all the previous paperwork history. This machine passed through all the UK export compliances, nova, taxes paid etc. and arrived with me in February 2023 where upon I now have a DVLA approved classic V5 registration document in my name.
This unique H2 features Ralf's H2 specification tune with uprated carbs and Japanese Zenshin pipes. Power is progressive with no flat spots and retains the excellent torque and rapid bhp hike at around 4, 500 to 5, 000 rpm that these H2's are known for. Although not dyno tested my experience would rate the output conservatively at 75 to 85bhp. Handling is uprated with ZXR400 running gear to include upside down front end shocks, twin disc brakes, rear swing arm with disc brake, wheels for modern rubber fitment, correct chain/ sprocket alignment, and the ever dependable Koni rear shocks. All in excellent running condition.
Paint work features the colours of the Kawasaki 'Big Horn' trailbike of the seventies and cosmetically in excellent condition as are the fastenings, chromework, and various finished surfaces that enhance this very special H2.
This year has seen the fitment of a new battery, clutch plates, fuel lines, ignition tune, and a comprehensive carb service plus check through by Doug Beacock at DB Auto's, Thirsk.
This is a fabulous machine that is very well looked after, mechanically sound, great fun, highly addictive, and sounds absolutely wonderful. V5 in my name and registered as a classic by the DVLA. Very happy to respond to further enquiries, requests for more pictures, or organise viewings via Car & Classic.
