1967 Morris Minor 1000 - very useable example, low ownership
Hi and welcome to my listing for this Minor 1000, an iconic British classic.
Finished in Trafalgar Blue with a black vinyl roof, this example presents very well overall and has some unique and modern touches added by the previous owner including a union jack bootlid, gas struts for the bonnet and boot, carbon fibre effect dashboard, new gauges and stalks, more modern front seats, spotlights, fog lights, reversing lights and more!
It has only had 2 previous owners and is showing 21k miles which although cannot be guaranteed, could well be correct.
Mechanically the engine starts up immediately and sounds lovely and quiet on tickover. The gearbox operates as it should and the brakes are working well (and much improved over standard) thanks to the addition of disk brakes with servo. In recent years it has also benefited from new spark plugs, leads & distributor cap, as well as a new exhaust and overhaul of the rear brakes.
The interior will be different to most other Morris Minor's as it features front seats (including bases) from a MK5 fiesta which improve overall comfort. It has also been fitted with a mountney steering wheel (original included) and a more modern headliner (with sunroof!)
As you can see, a substantial amount of work has gone into creating the car we see today.
Comes with a large quantity of invoices & receipts for work carried out.
Overall it is a great example of a Morris Minor which has been brought up to date somewhat with lots of new and upgraded parts, making it ready to be enjoyed!
