Opel Blitz offered for sale with Van Lith bodywork. This classic car served as a mobile post office for towns in the Netherlands that were too small for a post office. After the bus went out of service at the postal service, it was converted into a camper and later a food truck.
The vintage bus has been in the hands of the same family from the early 1990s until 2024. Currently, the former camper interior has been dismantled and the inside of the bus has a blank canvas. Completely tailored to your own vision and taste!
At the moment, a window has also been replaced with a hinged window. But the old original window is supplied with the bus, so it can be replaced (if desired).
The Opel Blitz is very spacious inside and has (apart from the wheel arches) a completely flat floor from the seat to the rear wall of the bus. The standing height in the bus is 1. 93 m, the width is 1. 95 m and the length behind the seats to the back wall is 4. 4 m. All in all, a very nice classic bus that attracts a lot of attention wherever it goes. This makes the bus also ideal as a promotional vehicle, food truck, camper or simply to transport people.
The Opel's paintwork is not neat and has a spot of rust here and there, but that also gives the opportunity to convert this unique bus and tailor it to your own taste.
The classic car is equipped with a 6-cylinder petrol engine that runs on both gas and petrol. This engine is combined with a manual gearbox which has 4 gears.
