1972 Fiat 500L , RHD
Here we have a really beautiful, original right hand drive, example of the iconic little Fiat 500 finished in the authentic Dark Blue (Blu Scuro 456)
She has undergone an extensive, nut and bolt restoration which crucially included an upgrade of the engine to the much punchier 650cc version with a synchro gearbox and electronic ignition. A new uprated starter motor and fuel pump have also been added making her a real breeze to drive. For added piece of mind there are a brand new set of tyres all round and the brakes have been fully refurbished with all new shoes and copper lines. She has just undergone a full service which included (amongst other things) a new carburettor float and distributor cap so she's running even more sweetly than usual.
The interior is particularly eye catching with the seats and carpets having been completely re-trimmed in tan with a new set of mats to complete the picture. Although not strictly required a set of discreet inertia reel seat belts have been fitted to the front seats.
Outside she’s been given new front and rear bumpers, a new canvas sunroof and all new chrome brightwork which along with the little boot rack and picnic basket and historic style registration plates really make her stand out from the crowd.
As an added bonus her historic vehicle status make her free from tax, mot and ulez.
This lovely little car is absolutely jam packed with character and has been a much loved member of our family but a new project means it’s time for her to move on to a new home. Very sad to see her go.
