A comfortable and competent touring motorcycle. In superb condition. This machine was the very first motorcycle sold by Thames valley Harley Davidson. And has a unique documented history. The first owner toured U S A. including Route 66 , each Harley dealership he called at and purchased accessories many if which are unavailable in the UK( copies of till receipts available )
This machine has been superbly maintained all it's life, and in a unmolested condition. The motorcycle benefits from a super hydraulic clutch, fuel injection , Harley radio/ cd player, cruise control, and as previously mentioned numerous chrome accessories and additional equipment, including inner Harley pannier bags and tourism bag allowing you to pack your belongings in the comfort of home and simply dropping the bags into the machine when ready
This motorcycle is simply eye catching in it original 95th colours of midnight red and champagne with 95th anniversary special badging . With it's batwing fairing and lower fairing protecting the rider and passenger front the worst if the wind and weather . Currently MOTed until May 2925. No expense has been spared in maintaining this machine and has been ridden sensibly all it's life. N0001 and being delivered 5th May 1998. To the first owner who was the owner of a shipping service vases in Leighton Buzzard . Who had the machine shipped in his own ship back to USA where he then toured the country on the machine including the famous Route 66 ( plaque on royal lid) each Harley Davidson dealer ship he saw he called at and purchased accessories ( copies of the till receipts included with the sale) together with receipts from the UK for work / maintenance done in the UK. Included in the sale will be the original handbook and genuine Harley Davidson workshop manual.
After riding motorcycles for over fifty years many if which as a professional advanced rider, I have made the unfortunate decision to hang up my crash helmet. I am a firm believer in " Ride it don't hide it" and simply this super machine isn't being used enough so reluctantly it's time to hand it on.
