It's time to sell my Peugoet J7. I haven't used this all year, and as part of my end-of-year clear-out, I'm letting it go.
I imported it about 8–9 years ago, and when not in use, it’s been stored in a barn. It’s been driven to many festivals and even through the Brecon Beacons. Although it hasn’t had an MOT in recent years (it’s MOT-exempt), I regularly MOTed it before that.
There are a couple of things it may need (if I don’t get to them first): new rubber seals on the steering arms (which I have), and a kill switch. After a mechanic fitted a new washer switch a couple of years ago, the lights wouldn’t turn off, so I've been disconnecting the battery.
I haven't driven it for a year—I created a video that shows the first start after a year of not being used, I cant unload onto this site so please ask and I can send. Video shows engine running, driving, and interior. This is a 1973 Peugeot catering van, Horse Box version with a high top. It hasn't moved in a year, and I'm open to reasonable offers.
It's been used for high-output catering. As you'll see from the photos, the counter folds down, giving a large area for display and serving. Inside, there’s enough space for 3-4 people to work. The back ramp door also folds down, which I used as the collection/ payment point at festivals. It comes with its own roof and counter, which will be included in the sale.
This is a high-output van, designed for handling large quantities of food. It has the newer plug-and-play fitting for LPG, so you can easily connect whatever catering equipment you need for an event.
