Description
Supplied to BSA Inc in New Jersey USA on 3rd June 1966; Matching Numbers; This machine has been the subject of a complete nut and bolt restoration much of which was carried out by SRM Engineering including a full engine rebuild with a dynamically balanced crankshaft; it appears that nothing was left untouched and is now much like a 12 month old machine having covered around 3, 500 miles since; it is utterly stunning; it is also fitted with a SRM 750cc Top End Conversion, Electronic Instruments that replicate the originals, Mikuni Carbs etc etc; Single Humped back saddle is also with it colour coded to the tank (see last photo); the fuel tank is a steel item covered in a Fibre Glass shell to accurately replicate the original but without the inherent Ethanol problems associated with Fibre Glass tanks; Dunlop Alloy Rims; photos and receipts in the history file; a heap of money has been lavished on this machine to make it probably the best example available anywhere but clearly also not the cheapest.
