1968 MORRIS MINI TRAVELLER Mk2 1000
Complete bare shell and mechanical restoration over 4 years costing in excess of £15k in parts alone.
Uprated to Mini Cooper spec using all original parts – cylinder head, camshaft, carbs, inlet manifold, air cleaner, plus new disc brakes and new servo, etc. Parts to return to standard will be supplied with the car. Also, all new fuel tank, clutch, mains and big end bearings, Duplex timing chain and sprocket upgrade, large capacity water pump, radiator, shock absorbers, radius arm bushes, all new synchro’s in the gearbox, 5 new tyres, complete new wiring loom, electronic ignition and so much more.
Resprayed to original colour with the addition of a Snowberry White roof. All new carpets.
Only 3 owners from new. Current mileage 88, 613. Full pictorial record of restoration (pen drive) will be supplied with the vehicle and invoices for parts, etc. plus some history documents.
MOT to 1st September 2025 (no advisories)Bought as a retirement project which took longer than anticipated. As an OAP I find it difficult to get in and out of but it is a smashing little vehicle and very useful.
