For sale is my 2005 Ducati Monster S2R800. It's a beautifully mean bike, sounds insane with the Termignoni exhaust and handles like it's on rails, thanks to the suspension refresh in 2020. The tail tidy neatens up the rear and the carbon mud guard looks great. I have a carbon rear cover as well. HEL braided brake and clutch lines in 2021. It originally came with drop bars but I changed over for a nice set of BMW bars, which give it an easy, comfortable but sporty riding position.
I bought it in 2020 and rode it for a couple of summers but it's been in the garage at my parents for the last 18 months (I have no inside storage at my place unfortunately). This means it just doesn't get ridden as it should be! I'll miss this bike but I've ridden less than 2000 miles in 2 years and it deserves to be owned by someone who'll take it out more often.
Michelin tyres, brakes and pads are in good working condition, plenty of bite and plenty of life left in them. Forks in good order, rear suspension strong. Sprocket and chain plenty of life left, lubricated often. Comes with 2 keys plus master key.
Dealer serviced until 18, 208miles (with log book stamps). The rest of the maintenance has been done by me as and when, although there's been very little to do as it's been faultless! Fluids have been changed every 6 months, regardless of whether it was ridden. In 2020 the PO performed a full service including front and rear suspension refurbishment (seals, oil, the lot), as well as a new fuel pump. The belts were tightened mid 2023.
