Description
This is my Chevrolet International AC. A six cylinder stovebolt engined car of 3. 2L from the first year of production. It produces 46hp, which is good for the period.
It has a V5c in my name, with plates starting BS****. The current shown are the original Australian ones for when she goes to a show.
It is in generally good condition, with a quality leather interior. It was imported from Australia and so is a RHD car. The engine starts easily and is smooth and reasonably powerful. The three forward gears have no synchromesh, but is also smooth. The top gear is powerful enough to save you from doing a lot of gearchanging even going up hills.
Had new innertubes and liner two years ago.
The horn has currently decided to stop working. The sidescreens will need some attention to some of the fasteners before going out on the road with them. The fasteners are readily available. Rather cleverly, the sidescreens will open with the doors, when the fasteners are sorted out.
She has subtly added direction indicators.
I'm reluctantly handing in my old car driving gloves so not wanting a swap or part-ex. I bought this car from a wedding hire company because it was rather lovely to be honest. It is easy to drive and has enough power for safe and convenient local driving. RHD examples are rare.
