Golf GTI 8v 5 Door…The car was found in a barn around 2022, it had been there for about 15years. The guy bought the car and got it road worthy (in Bournemouth) there was a little welding for mot at this point at the back. Then sold it to a friend of mine which is how it got here on the island. He had it a year when I got the car. Its had a new high quality clutch, new locks and keys all round inc ignition, cam belt, 4 new tyres, brake discs calipers and pads all round, New wheel bearings all round, new front drive shafts and gearbox seals, rear shocks, main engine crank seal, oil and filters, radiator, coolant, some hoses, spark plugs and leads, coil, battery, some earth cables, some new fuel parts, performance air filter, rear back box, radio and speakers(original type)…I’m sure there are a few more bits that have been replaced. Looks to be mostly original paint, so there’s marks and scratches + small bubbles of fine rust. Since doing all the work I’ve now covered about 4000 miles trouble free!! It really does drive nice!! ( The headliner needs sorting, as missing at the rear ) Car will come with a new M. O. T
