Huge recent investment in the vehicle, to the value of some £3500, including, but not limited to, the entire front suspension and steering system overhauled at Mercedes Benz Colchester, with brand new steering rack, air bags, power steering pump, front and rear control arms. The air con system has been overhauled, with new components. The car has refurbished Anca 17 inch alloys with brand new tyres, unused spare wheel.
The rear suspension has been overhauled, just this summer, to the value of some £4000, with four new rear hydraulic subframe mounts, rear anti roll bar and bushes, new rear struts and top mounts, both sides. Now drives as new. Most of the components remain under a two year warranty from Mercedes Benz UK.

Regular oil changes with Liqui Moli products. Superb Mercedes Estate, in excellent order mechanically, with outstanding bodywork. Paintwork has been polished and waxed regularly to maintain the sparking lustre.
Under shields and arch liners removed, entire underside inspected and Extensively Lanoguard treated annually. New clips and fittings installed each time.

Manufactured during the pinnacle of Mercedes Diesel engines, designed to last a lifetime. Widely recognised as the best diesel engine ever made by Mercedes, easily capable of a minimum of at least 600, 000 miles plus, with care and maintenance. Owned by myself five years, fastidiously maintained, always garaged when not in use.
Now becoming sought after, due to the recognised longevity of the model, compared to the more fragile, troublesome later models on offer.
