Description
Up for sale we have my 1969 BMW 2000CA Right hand drive.
4 Previous Owner's
MOT & Tax Exempt
72000 Miles
I have the Owners handbook and Workshop Manual and V5C documents.
It's recently undergone light recommissioning which consisted of:
Brake caliper rebuild and fresh fluid
Plugs, leads & battery
Cam cover gasket
Engine oil, filter & aux belt
Gearbox fluid
New Exhaust
New nexen tyres
Refurbished Fuel Tank
It runs and drives well, no knocks or noises and the engine pulls great through the 3 speed automatic gearbox. Brakes and handbrake also working correctly.
The bodywork is average for the age, it presents well from a distance but it is not perfect. Chrome bumpers are in good condition, no major damage or holes. Underneath has seen a restoration at some point, there's no rust or any issues to note. I believe most of the bushes have been replaced however I do not have proof of this.
The interior is original, the seats are still in good condition with only very minor wear, the woodwork is showing signs of age but it's all complete.
All of the electrics are working including the instrument cluster, lights, windows, wipers etc, aftermarket stereo system also installed.
The car is complete, there's nothing missing as far is I'm aware. All of the locks and ignition are original.
Thanks for looking at my advert. Please call me on the details below if you'd like to arrange a viewing. The iconic coupe shape of this 60's neu classe BMW is unmistakable. It's the rarest of all the 2000 Coupes, being a RHD Automatic there were only 28 manufactured between 1965 and 1969.
It was my intention to keep this car for the foreseeable future but storage limitations and other projects mean it's up for sale.
