Hello and welcome to the auction of my 1988 Austin mini city E 1988 in targa red overall a lovely little genuine mini very much how how it whould have come off the production line the mini is on the road ready to drive away its taxed and moted till the middle of December this year. The mini is not a show car and is not concourse but it is a genuine little mini that has not been messed about with during its lifetime . The mini has 2 previous owners from new them being 2 elderly people their is a huge file of paperwork from through out the cars life along with the original bill of sale along with the original 6000 mile service receipt from where the mini was brought new from ! The mini is all matching numbers the car has the registration number etched onto the glass and is still on the original number plates from new with the dealership logo and name on them all the correct nimbus grey external trim is present on the car including the gutter trim and sill covers all the handles match the same key as it should do the interior is completely original and still has the original radio fitted that still works great. Everything on the mini works as it should the engine runs lovely and gearbox is smooth to select gears a large file of paperwork and history of the mini shows that current millage is also correct . The floors along with the sills and both subframes are solid on the mini.
Over all it’s a honest genuine mini that needs someone with the time to give the car the use and love that it deserves and to enjoy the mini for what it is.
Theirs a small hole in the front drivers side wing as I have pictured and then a few other small dings that need sorting on the bodywork as I’ve said it’s not a show winning car but a very honest genuine car finished in targa red only reason I have decided to part with the car is that I haven’t got time with work commitments to use and enjoy the mini I’m looking to get my money back for the car not make 100s of pounds I am open to genuine sensible offers but I am also not willing to give the car away for nothing any questions please ask I am happy to answer them as honest as I can many thanks again
