Triumph TR7 DHC
First Registered: 01/ 08/ 1980

This car currently has 38, 000 miles from new; the car being purchased in Grimsby on 01/ 08/ 1980, put into storage in a car cocoon with only 788 miles in Nov 1980 to Aug 1991 just over 10 years, it was sold and moved to Rotherham and was used till 1, 500 miles. Then it was sold and moved to Falkirk Scotland and used till 15, 000 miles, then on to Kilmarnock in 1999 where it had a gentle life with its very own heated garage then stored Oct 2002 eventually sold on again Aug 2006 to myself with 18, 000 miles.
Condition is good some miner rust in places as to be expected
Engine
Standard 2. 0L 8V engine converted to electric fan and electronic ignition, with custom stainless-steel exhaust.
Brakes
New Ford Capri 2. 8 callipers with Mintex vented, discs, 4 speed cylinders at the rear, with Sherpa brake servo.
Suspension
New Gaz full adjustable on car shocks all round up-rated springs with anti-dive kit, Ford Sierra adapted top roller bearing strut mounts, full re-bushed suspension all round.
Exterior
Wheels are MGTF V- spoke, Morris Marina rear door handles ( No key holes ), central locking, with full set of factory alloy wheels also.
Interior
Standard tan trim seats in tan check,
Ice
I purchased a used centre console and I have fitted a double din head unit, to give that modern convenience of navigation, music and telecommunication. full multimedia technology, JL audio front door speakers, Pioneer behind seat speakers, all interior has Dynamat sound deadening, Alpine SWD 1600 compact under seat sub-woofer.
Lighting
The car lighting has been fully converted to LED with the dash in blue lights, the rear lights have been had a full custom LED boards fitted made by myself, the front headlights are also LED full replacement units.

With all the modifications I try to keep the original look of the factory Triumph TR7.
As stated, there are a lot of parts to go with the car, full set of factory alloy wheels, spare gearbox, new clutch and fittings plus boxes of other parts headlight motors etc.

If you want any other information or photographs please let me knowI have loved this car and owned it for many years since Aug 2006 It is a very well-known car to the TR Drivers club in which I was honoured to receive many trophies at the National show in which the car drove 700 miles there and back every year to get to.
This is not an easy decision to sell.
