The Rover has been well maintained, only 5, 500 km ago the timing belt was replaced and of course the head gasket was renewed in the past. Recently the front brake pads were replaced and 2 tyres. The MOT has no comments and is valid until January 2025.
The 75 is one of the best cars the Rover group ever built. Thanks to the then owner BMW, an excellent car was then developed from the days when BMW itself still built high-quality cars. The exterior is very stylish and much nicer than the average boring mid-size car. The colour Arden Green mica suits the car very well, although this 75 does have some signs of use. Some parts have been repainted and the paint is a bit dull. That also explains the competitive price.
The interior is strikingly beautiful and very well cared for. Anyway, inside it is very British with lots of wood, chrome and nice oval gauges. The seats are covered in sandstone velour upholstery and everything is in one piece. The dashboard with wood inlays is atmospheric and all the gauges work as they should including the duozone climate control.
The suspension was developed by BMW, so handling, steering and comfort are at a high level. The 5-speed gearbox also shifts like a BMW, smooth and precise. So it is a perfect touring car, which is also suitable as a youngtimer for entrepreneurs.
Conclusion: a technically reliable mid-size car that is much nicer and more exclusive than all those grey mice you see on the road. You drive in style and you sit in a beautiful interior. The 1. 8 engine is strong enough and very economical; the consumption meter now reads 6. 9 litres, which is 1 ltr on 14. 5 KM. A considering the low mileage, this 75 is competitively priced.
