1988 Classic Mini 998cc, white bodywork with black roof. Interior black with white headlining. Car has had a lot of work undertaken including completely new brakes all round ( discs, pads, drums, shoes, cylinders and back plates plus new handbrake cable and runners). All new suspension including shocks, adjustable hilos, ball joints, cups and recon rear arms. Subframes solid. Body work very solid. Paintwork very good except where shown in photos but had these areas checked and can be repaired = not rotten.
New parts in engine bay including clutch slave cylinder, hoses, heater valve and alloy rocker cover.
4 x Cibie like lamps, fully functioning. 13 inch mini lites with excellent tyres. New battery. Boot kitted out with boarded carpet. Cooper S type steering wheel.
Huge history file and recently serviced. MOT expired at the end of last month but can get this done.
Engine mileage genuine as far as I can tell. Standard apart from lcb and sports exhaust plus KN filter. Pulls through gears well, no gearbox noise and selection very good
Price reflects the car. Not rotten, excellent runner and starts first timeThe photos show the mini has presence. It gets great reactions from people in the street. Fun to drive. The only reason I am selling is that I need space for a bike.
